We thought it would take a little longer for Sean to get through the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but we were pleasantly mistaken. So this week we are talking about the first half of season 2, but don’t worry, you’ll get the second part in the next week or two. That should give you plenty of time to go to Hulu and watch them all.

This week we let the fates decided what our movie night would be, and it turns out, the fates favored Roy. One of Roy’s leftover picks from the last cabin trip came back around, and that is how we ended up watching the 1998 “classic”, Blade. On this very special director spotlight edition of COtR, the four of us break down almost the entire career of John Carpenter. The movies we love, the movies we hate, the movies that surprised us, and James Woods not being a very good actor…all of it is on the table. Is it possible that one of us doesn’t like one of Carpenter’s absolute classics? Is it possible this happens more than once? Yeah, I mean I probably wouldn’t have asked if the answer was no.
